Navigating the form

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Description

Select a journal name when you create a new journal. You can select only those names that are relevant for each journal type created in the form.

The worksheet journal number, which is assigned according to the number sequence specified during setup. The number sequence is set up in the form. A journal name can have several journal numbers, each with its own journal lines.

The selected inventory journal type. The available values are: Movement, Profit/Loss, Transfer, BOM, Counting, Project, Tag counting, and Fixed assets.

A description of the journal.

The number of journal lines.

If this check box is selected, the journal has been posted. To view the specific journal lines, click .

Choose a voucher series ID, which is created in the form.

When will a new voucher number automatically be picked?

When will a new voucher be allocated?

Specify the summation level.

Select this check box if journal lines should be deleted when posting is completed.

The account number.

The Extended Date Type called AccountNum defines length and adjustment (left or right) of the ledger account. Alphanumeric characters are allowed.

NoteThe adjustment type is important for the sorting of the accounts in the form.

Type of reservation:

  • – Use the Reservation function to reserve the item selected for the transaction.

  • – The item is reserved automatically for that transaction.

The user for whom the journal is private.

When this check box is selected, the inventory journal is locked by the program and you cannot save new lines or edit existing ones.

The user group for which the journal is private.

The date and time on which the journal was posted.

The user who posted the journal.

The journal number that the lines are transferred from.
