Use this form to set the balance limit for cash transactions.

Open the form

  1. Click Bank> Common Forms> Cash accounts.

  2. Select a cash account and click Balance limit.

Note Note

To create a new cash account, press CTRL+N, and enter the required details.

Currency type

Select the type of currency from the following options:

  • Default currency– Set up balance limits for the cash account in the default currency of the company.

  • Indicated currency– Set up balance limits in the currency indicated in the Currencyfield.

Currency

Select a currency code if the currency type is Indicated currency.

NoteThe default currency is displayed in this field if the currency type is Default currency.

Balance limit type

Select the type of the balance limit from the following options:

  • Maximum– Set up the maximum cash balance limit.

  • Minimum– Set up the minimum cash balance limit.

Check balance limit

Select from the following options:

  • Accept– The account balance can exceed minimum and maximum limits.

  • Warning– A warning message is displayed when posting cash vouchers if the account balance exceeds minimum and maximum limits.

  • Error– Posting of cash vouchers is not allowed if the account balance exceeds minimum and maximum limits.

Balance limit

Enter the minimum or maximum balance amount.
