Set up the ledger accounts for expense and income codes.

General

View or modify the ledger account details.

Dimensions

Set up the dimension codes for which the transaction data will be transferred to the selected expense or income code.

Description

Valid for

Select from the following options:

  • All– Select this if the voucher on all expense groups is to be displayed in the accounts that are defined in the Debit accountand Credit Accountfields.

  • Group– Select this if the voucher on the group that is defined in the Debit accountand Credit accountfields should be displayed in the accounts.

  • Table– Select this if the voucher on the ledger account that is defined in the Debit accountand Credit accountfields should be displayed in the accounts.

Debit account

Select the debit account number or the account interval group code.

Credit account

Select the credit account number or the account interval group code.

Expense code

Select the expense or income code for which you want to set up the ledger account.

Department

Enter the dimensional value for the department for which the transaction data will be transferred to the selected expense or income code.

Cost center

Enter the dimensional value for the cost center for which the transaction data will be transferred to the selected expense or income code.

Purpose

Enter the dimensional value for the purpose for which the transaction data will be transferred to the selected expense or income code.

Empty dimension using

Select this check box to allow an empty tax dimension in the transaction.
