invoices as soon as they arrive. The actual balance in the journal
is reflected in the

The invoices are not yet approved for posting to ledger cost
accounts, but they are posted to the

Create or view vendor invoice lines in the journal. When you
post an invoice line and transfer it to the
, the
program selects the
check box on
the invoice line.

line that is selected on the

Enter or view dimension values for the selected invoice line on

When you post the journal lines, you transfer them to the
invoice approval journal.
If you want vouchers without errors to be posted and vouchers
with errors to be transferred to a new journal, click

exists, no vouchers are posted, and you receive an error
message.

is suggested, but it can be changed. When the date on a line has
been changed, this date is suggested when a new line is
created.
The voucher number for the transaction. Set up the voucher

Note

The employee who approves the transaction. By default, it is
filled in with the user who logged on to the system, but it can be
changed. In the

form, you can restrict the approval function to a specific

The terms of payment for the current invoice.
Due date for the invoice that is calculated based on the
. It can be changed
manually.
Note
The calculation occurs only if an
number is entered.
Payment identification that is used when payment is made. If a
payment proposal is used, the payment ID from the invoice or credit
note is suggested, but it can be changed.
Select the tax exempt number for the transaction. The tax exempt
numbers are created in

Specify the purchase orders that pertain to this invoice.
Note
This field is used only for information, and more than one
purchase order can be set in the field.
The payment method that is used on the current payment, invoice
or credit note.
Specify the payment specification, if any, for the current
method of payment.
When you post in a foreign currency, you must specify which
currency you are using.

To select a foreign currency manually:
Place the cursor in the

Click the square arrow to see a list of existing currency codes
and names.

exchange rates.
Enter the amount of the transaction in the relevant currency.
The balance indicates the amount in the default currency.
Note
There must always be an exchange rate that is dated before the
earliest transactions. The first rate may have a blank date.
Amounts may be posted in mixed currencies in the same account.
Access a form with posting balances by currency in the
form.
This check box is selected if the currency code is included in
triangulation. It is defaulted from the information about the
selected currency, but it can be changed.
Currency exchange rate that applies to the transaction. The
currency rate that is expressed here is the rate that is set up in
the
form, but it is possible to change this rate if it is
necessary.
The exchange rate is expressed as the number of units of the
foreign (non-company) currency that is indicated in the
field on the
tab in the
form.

Cash discount amount that is included in the payment.
When payment is made before the deadline, the specified amount
is redeemed and posted automatically by the open-post system.
Select or view the bank account of the recipient.
The field can be edited if the payment status is neither

Posting profile for the transaction, defaulted from the setup
for the selected account type. A posting profile must be specified
for every update of, for example, a vendor, customer, or fixed
assets transaction.
Enter or view the account number for the current

Optionally, enter the number, or name, of the document that is

Select the 1099 form on which you want to print the 1099
amount.
Specify the state for the delivery.
