Use this form to create, maintain, and register the progress of campaigns in Sales and marketing.

Campaigns use the registered business relations to target contact persons from the selected business relations.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Filtering the form

Filter

Description

Select the employee from the drop-down list whose campaigns you want to display.

The employee value can be combined with the value in the filter field.

To display campaigns for all employees, select the check box.

Select a campaign process if you want to display only select campaigns.

Select this check box to display all of the campaigns, regardless of stage, in a tree control view instead of the standard grid view.

Select this check box to display all of the campaigns in the form.

Select a campaign status to view.

This value can be combined with the value in the filter field.

View information about all of the campaigns, including the responsible employees, the campaign stage for each campaign, what the campaign target is, and the campaign date and campaign group.

View detailed information about the selected campaign.

View and edit notes about the selected campaign, the campaign targets, and the campaign target group.

Define and adjust the e-mail template that is used in the selected campaign.

The category and text of the e-mail template can be adjusted for a particular campaign.

View information about the completion percentage of the questionnaire that is associated with the selected campaign. The completion percentage of the questionnaire is measured by number of targets who responded as a percentage of the total number of targets contacted.

The questionnaire that is attached to the campaign is also indicated on this tab.

Create new subcampaigns, and edit or delete existing subcampaigns.

  • – Send an e-mail message to a predefined e-mail group.

  • – Create an address file for the file type that you want (*txt, *.doc, or *.xls) based on the targets of the active campaign.

  • – Open the campaign mailing merge file.

  • – Create a telemarketing call list based on the targets of the active campaign. Only one telemarketing call list can be created for the campaign.

Open a menu with the following items:

  • – Set up or adjust the campaign responsibilities for other employees.

  • – Set up or adjust the registered campaign media types.

  • – Conduct a SWOT analysis of the active campaign.

Open a menu with the following items:

  • – Connect the active campaign to an existing project, or create a new project to connect the active campaign to.

  • - Create a new project for the active campaign.

  • – Create a copy of the active campaign.

  • – Create a group of campaign targets for the active campaign.

  • – Mass-create sales quotations for all campaign targets of the active campaign.

  • - Mass create project quotations for all campaign targets of the active campaign.

Open a menu with the following items:

  • – View the documents that are attached to the active campaign.

  • – View the project to which the active campaign is connected.

  • – View any encyclopedia elements that are attached to the active campaign.

  • – View any telemarketing initiatives that are attached to the active campaign.

  • – View any activities that are attached to the active document.

Note Note

If the active campaign does not have any of the elements (documents, projects, encyclopedia, or telemarketing initiatives) attached to it, the form will open, but it will be blank.

Select this check box if the campaign is closed.

View the campaign identification that uniquely identifies the active campaign. The campaign identification must be entered when a new campaign is created and is usually automatically generated by the system by using the Campaign ID number sequence.

Enter the name of the campaign.

Select the process that is being used for the campaign.

Select the employee who owns and is responsible for the campaign.

View the status of the active campaign that is set by five predefined stages.

You can change the campaign stage by clicking the button.

Select the target of the campaign.

The campaign target types can be manually set up and maintained in the form.

Select the campaign start date.

Select the campaign group for the campaign.

Campaign groups are set up and maintained in the form.

If the campaign was canceled, select the cancellation reason from the drop-down list.

The cancellation reasons are set up and maintained in the form.

View the identification of the parent campaign, if the campaign is a subcampaign of another campaign.

Select the campaign type.

Campaign types are set up and maintained in the form.

View the project identification.

This field will be populated if the campaign's activities, resources, and costs are to be run as a project.

View the call list identification to be used if the selected campaign is a telemarketing campaign.

View the questionnaire that is attached to the campaign.

View the format of the subcampaign identification (if any) is defined here.

Note Note

The campaign identification can contain only 10 characters.


Select the campaign end date.

Select the date on which a follow-up activity will be initiated for the campaign.

The follow-up date is set by default to the campaign start date plus the number of days that are set in the Follow-up daysfield in the Campaignstab of the form.

View the follow up activity number.

Enter a description of the campaign target.

Enter a description of the campaign target group.

Enter a summary of the results and experiences of the campaign.

Select an e-mail template.

The e-mail templates are set up and maintained in the form.

View the category of the e-mail message. The category will become the e-mail message subject field in Microsoft Office Outlook when the e-mail message is sent.

The e-mail template category is set up and maintained on the tab in the form.

View the text of the e-mail message. The text will become the body of the message in Office Outlook when the e-mail message is sent.
