Use to record an absence.

Absence registration is a collaboration between the employee registering an absence and the person responsible for approving absences for the employee.

Both the employee and the approver can enter text pertaining to the journal.

Note Note

An employee can have several open journals but always sees the oldest journal first. If a journal is rejected, it is returned, resumes status as the oldest, and therefore supplants the journal in which the employee is currently working. Also, even though an employee has no absences to register for a period, the journal must still be transferred before the next journal can be displayed automatically.

Journals must be created before absence transactions can be registered.
