Use this form to create and manage shipments.

The default settings for a number of options on this form are defined on the template ( ) used for the shipment but can be changed for the individual shipment on this form.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Displays further information about the shipment selected on the Overview tabtab.

Description

Shows the lines that belong to the shipment.

Open a menu with the following items:

  • - Run an analysis of the current on-hand inventory to check whether the shipment can be reserved in inventory.

  • - Reserve shipment in the inventory. This will create and add shipment lines to picking routes and output pallet transports.

    It is possible to re-run the reservation as long as the shipment contains lines without a route.

  • - Release, for shipment, the picking routes associated with the delivery.

  • - Release, for shipment, the pallet transports that are associated with the delivery.

  • - Release, for shipment, both the picking routes and the pallet transports that are associated with the delivery.

  • - Send the shipment.

  • - Cancel reservations made by the Reserve now function. Picking routes and pallet transports are also deleted.

  • - Update, print and edit the packing slip. Use this to update a packing slip for a shipment if you need to update several orders at once.

  • - Send advanced shipment note electronically.

  • - Physical update of transfer order shipment.

  • - Select if you want to use the wizard to create shipments or to select to pack all quantities and print.

Open a menu with the following items:

  • - View information about pallet transports.

  • - View information about picking routes.

  • - View all bills of lading.

  • - View sales orders attached to the current shipment.

  • - Specify the criteria for selecting inventory orders.

  • - View transfer orders attached to the current shipment.

Opens the following submenu items:

  • - Print contents of the shipment.

  • - Print bill of lading.

  • - Print sales orders per shipment

  • - Print transfer orders per shipment

Process shipment information from shipping carrier software. If the order is a C.O.D. order, the invoice is posted and printed so it can be included with the packing slip. If the order is paid by a credit card, the invoice is posted, and the total amount of the order is calculated and submitted to the credit card company for authorization. Post and print the invoice that is associated with the shipment. If is selected, a return address and logo is not printed on the invoice.

Open a menu with the following items:

  • – Select a printer to print the invoice to.

  • – Select a printer to print the packing slip to.

Select to see shipments according to their current status:

Identification (ID) of the shipment. You can retrieve the ID from an existing number sequence.

Site where you want to ship your shipment from.

Site information is mandatory and cannot be changed if shipment lines exist.

Warehouse where you want to ship your shipment from.

Warehouse information is mandatory for shipments of type and can be changed until the shipment has been sent.

Description of the shipment.

Location where you want the items to be collected after picking and output transport are complete.

Select the rule that you want to use for outbound processes.

Specifies how picking routes and whole-pallet output transports should be generated.

The following options are:

  • - Entire shipment can be packed together.

  • - Orders to a single customer can be packed together, but orders to different customers must be in different picking routes and may not be included together in the same pallet transport.

  • - Each order, production, and so on should be packed separately.

Status for picking.

The following options are available:

  • - Consignment has not been reserved yet, or no picking routes are associated with the shipment.

  • - All picking routes have been created, but not all have been released for consignment yet.

  • - Picking routes have been released for consignment, but not all have been started yet.

  • - Picking routes have been started, but not all are finished yet.

  • - All picking routes have been completed.

Status for pallet transports.

The following options are available:

  • - Shipment either has not been reserved yet, or no pallet transports are associated with the shipment.

  • - Pallet transports have been created, but not all have been released for consignment.

  • - Pallet transports have been released for consignment, but have not all been started.

  • - Pallet transports have been started, but are not all finished yet.

  • - All pallet transports have been completed.

Displays the type of picking that the shipment is based on.

Date and time that the shipment was dispatched. Completed automatically upon shipment.

Allows activation of a shipment only if all items can be reserved.

Reservation sequence to be used for the shipment.

View whether all your shipment lines have been updated (completed), if they are waiting, or if they are ready for update.

View the state in which orders can be added to the shipment.
