Description

Select a definition group that specifies the tables and fields to export data from. Using a definition group is mandatory for Excel export.

Definition groups are created in the form.

When this check box is selected, file names provided in the definition group specification are overridden and the file listed in the field is used for data from all tables.

Specify how Microsoft Dynamics AX should handle the export if one of the file names listed on the tab or in the definition group already exists:

  • – Stop the export.

  • – Continue with the export but skip the file that already exists.

  • – Continue with the export and create a new file so that the existing file is not modified.

  • – Continue with the export and modify data in the existing file.

  • – Continue with the export and overwrite data in the file.

Reset the in the so that files are exported even if they have previously been fully or partially exported.

For more information, see Table setup (form).

Export also includes lookup tables. Inclusion of the lookup tables eases data entry and helps ensure data integrity during later import. The table data is exported to a sheet in the export named #Lookup.
