Use this form to report all or a part of a production as finished. This allows for the items that are reported as finished to be available in inventory and frees work centers to be scheduled for other production tasks. You automatically receive information about the quantity of items produced, the number of units in error, and the cause of the errors.
You can change a production to a status using this form. You also can report an order as finished using the production journal . The journal can be used to update several productions at the same time by checking and posting them at the same time.
If a production has not been through the update steps in the production life cycle, the program does an automatic update. These updates include the following:

You can also use the button to filter for a production order number. If you access the form from the form, the field is automatically populated with the selected production order. |

If you leave the field blank, you can still run the updates discussed here for the production order. |

The item identification. Item numbers can be generated by the system by linking the item number to a Number sequences (form). |

Enter the date to report the production as finished. The default is the system date, but you can change it. The date is used as the posting date for route transactions and inventory transactions. |

Select the beginning operation number to report as finished. If you leave the field blank and only specify a , any previous operations are also included. |

Select the check box to create the route card journal with the operations that are marked as completed.

Select the journal to use for recording material consumption from the picking list. You can select from all existing journals. For more information about journals, see Journal name, Production (form). The quantity that is picked depends on the setting in the field. |

Select this field to activate automatic consumption. The program then posts the picking list for the consumed materials. The options are:

Select the check box to create the picking list journal with lines that are end-marked. This means no additional material consumption is expected to be posted for the production order. |

Select the journal to use to report items as finished. The finished item that is added to inventory is posted through the journal. You can select any existing journal. For more information about journals, see Journal name, Production (form). |

This field controls a feature that checks your update data and warns you of any inconsistencies. If there are inconsistencies, an error log is displayed, and the report as finished update is canceled. The program checks the following:
Leave the field blank to receive the error log. Select the check box if you do not want to receive the error log. |
