You can calculate a wide range of salary accruals using the average-earned method. These include per diem, travel allowances, gifts, annual bonuses, vacations, and sick-lists.

Different average-earning accrual types are calculated using different methods. You can set up the average-earned method so that the average-earned lines for a configured calculation method can be used in various calculation procedures. Use this form to create or update employee average-earned calculation methods.

Calculation method code

Select a previously configured average-earned calculation method.

Name

The name of the selected average-earned calculation method.

Employee

Select the employee for whom the average-earned calculation method is set up.

Employee name

The full name of the selected employee.

Number of month

Select a previously configured rate that contains the number of months of the average-earned calculation period.

Calculation method of short month

Select the calculation method for hours worked if the calculation period is not fully worked:

  • Summary– The number of hours worked is calculated using the information about the employee hours worked for the month; the time according to the schedule minus absences.

  • Calendar– The number of hours worked is calculated using the daily time sheet and calendar details; the days according to schedule minus absences.

  • By coefficient– The number of hours worked is calculated using the information about the actual time worked considering the conversion factor set for the employee's calendar and the work week duration.

Calculation type

Select the calculation type from the following options to specify whether average hourly or daily earnings are calculated:

  • by days

  • by hours

Working week duration

Select the work week from the following options:

  • 5 days

  • 6 days

  • 7 days

Calculation method of full month

Select the average-earned calculation method if the calculation period is fully worked by the selected employee:

  • According to calendar– The number of calculation days in the calculation period.

  • Average value– The average number of days per month.

Base of calculation

Select the average-earned calculation base. The base includes pay types that are used in the average-earned calculation.

Average earned base

Select the calculation base that includes the average-earned payment types.

Note Note

If there were no accruals in the previous calculation periods included in the Base of calculation, the average earned is calculated using the accruals calculated for the average earned.


Step-up ratio

Select the rate that contains the ratio for indexing the average earnings during calculation.

According to schedule

Select the time group that defines the time according to the schedule.

Actually worked

Select the time group code that defines the time actually worked.

This field is editable when the value of Calculation method of short monthis By coefficient.


Absences from work

Select a time group that defines an acceptable reason for absence from work.

On average

Select a time group that defines the time during which the accruals entered in the Average earned basefield were made.

Bonus base

Select a base of calculation that includes the pay types corresponding to any awards for the period.

Criteria of bonus accounting

Select the criteria to specify the rules of bonus accounting in the average-earned calculation:

  • Maximal

  • Minimal

  • First

  • Last

Note Note

If the quantity of bonuses exceeds that permitted for the average-earned calculation, a bonus is selected for the period for a single reason, depending on the selected criteria. One-twelfth of the bonus for the year before the event is included in every month entered in the average-earned calculation.


Proportional calculation

Select this check box to include bonuses in the average-earnings calculation in proportion to the hours worked.
