You can transfer an employee to a different division or position by creating and posting a transfer resolution.

  1. Select Staff accounting> Staff administration> Resolution journals> Transferto open the Transfer resolutionsform.

  2. Press CTRL+N to create a new transfer resolution journal.

  3. In the Namefield, select the journal code specified in the Staff administration parametersform for transfer resolution journals.

    Note Note

    The Journalfield automatically displays a unique journal number according to the number series assigned for resolution journals in the staff administration parameters.


  4. In the Resolution datefield, select the date on which the resolution is created.

    Note Note

    The Resolution numberfield automatically displays a unique resolution number according to the number series assigned for transfer resolutions in the staff administration parameters.


  5. Click the Reasontab.

  6. In the Reasonfield, enter the reason for creating the transfer resolution.

  7. Click Linesto open the Transfer resolution linesform.

  8. Press CTRL+N to create a new transfer resolution line.

  9. In the Employeefield, select the employee to be transferred.

    Note Note

    The Employee namefield automatically displays the employee's name.


  10. Select the By staff listcheck box, if the employee is transferred by staff list.

  11. In the Organizationfield, select the code for the receiving department, or the department code and position code if the employee is transferred by staff list.

  12. In the Positionfield, select the new position for the employee.

    Note Note

    The Positionfield automatically displays the name of the employee's position if the employee is transferred by staff list.


  13. In the Categoryfield, select the new position category.

    Note Note

    The Categoryfield automatically displays the position category if the employee is transferred by staff list.


  14. In the Start datefield, enter the start date.

  15. In the End datefield, enter the end date, if the transfer is temporary.

  16. Click the Generaltab.

  17. In the Employmentfield, enter the employee's employment rate.

    Note Note

    The Salaryfield automatically displays the salary rate value specified for the position in the Organizational chart, if the employee is transferred by staff list. If necessary, you can set the Salaryfield manually.


  18. In the 1st Raise, 2nd Raiseand 3rd Raisefields, enter the salary raise values.

  19. In the Codefield, select the pay scale code for the position to which the employee is transferred.

  20. In the Gradefield, select the category corresponding to the position.

  21. In the Document numberfield, enter the document number with changes to the employment contract.

  22. In the Document datefield, enter the document date.

  23. In the Transfer typefield, select the type of transfer.

  24. In the Reason codefield, select the code for the reason for transfer.

  25. Select the Change of salary of positioncheck box, if the transfer resolution is created in connection with a change to the salary rate for the position.

    Note Note

    Repeat steps 8 to 25 to transfer several employees at the same time.


  26. Click Validateto check the resolution lines for errors.

  27. Click Close, and then click OKto confirm the resolution. The following steps will automatically take place:

    • The information about the job is automatically transferred to the employee's personal ID card.

    • A new record is generated in the Historyform.

    • If the employee was transferred by staff list, the number of established positions is reduced and increased for the position in the former place of work.

    • The Postedcheck box in the Transfer resolutionsform is selected.

  28. Press CTRL+S or close the Transfer resolution linesform.

  29. In the Transfer resolutionform, click Restoreto cancel the changes made on the basis of this transfer resolution.

  30. Press CTRL+S or close the form.
