Use this form to view closed, also called settled, transactions for the customer account that is selected in the form. You also can reverse a settlement. To view the resulting transactions, click > > > .

When you reverse a closed transaction, the following processes occur:

  • Exchange adjustments, penny differences, and cash discounts that are related to the transaction are reversed.

  • Due-to and due-from amounts are reversed, if the settlement includes one or more payments in one company and one or more invoices in another company.

  • A new voucher number is assigned to the transaction.

Note Note

If an icon is displayed in the field, the transaction is already marked for reversal, so it will be reversed when you click .

Open a menu with the following items:

Select how to determine the posting date to use if the settlement reversal results in settlement reversal transactions:

  • – Use the original settlement date of the most recent transaction involved in the settlement.

  • – Use today's date.

  • – Use the date that you specify. The date must be the same as, or later than, the date of the most recent transaction involved in the settlement.

Specify the posting date for the selected transactions. This field is available only if you selected in the field.

If an icon is displayed, the transaction is marked for reversal.

If selected, the closed transaction will be reversed when you click . For more information, see Reverse settlements.

The voucher number for the attached ledger transaction.

The customer account that is associated with the transaction.

The company that is associated with the customer account for the transaction.

The posting date of the transaction. This date is often the invoice date.

The due date of the transaction.

The invoice number that the transaction is attached to.

The amount settled in the transaction currency.

Note Note

If the transaction is reversed, this is the amount being reopened.


The currency code for the amount in the transaction currency.

The cash discount date for the customer transaction.

The cash discount received by the customer.

Descriptive text for the current transaction. The transaction text can be inserted automatically when invoices are posted, or you can type it manually before updating.

The transaction type, such as a payment, invoice, or interest note, that is attached to the transaction when it is posted. This is determined by the function that generated the transaction.

If selected, the current transaction is a correction of another transaction. Debit amounts are reversed using negative debit amounts and credit amounts are reversed using negative credit amounts. This method of transaction reversal is known as Storno. When credit notes are updated, ledger transactions are debited or credited as reverse entries.

The posting profile that was used for this transaction.

A posting profile can be attached to selected customers (first search criterion), groups of customers, (second search criterion), or all customers (third search criterion).

The date of the most recent exchange rate adjustment for the transaction.

The voucher number for the most recent exchange rate adjustment for the current transaction.

The exchange rate from the most recent exchange adjustment.

The user who approved the transaction.

If this check box is selected, the transaction has been approved. The default value for payments comes from the payment journal.

The number of the document that the transaction is based on, such as a bill of exchange.

The document date for the transaction.

The order account number that is related to the transaction.

The dimension that the transaction is attached to.

The dimension that the transaction is attached to.

The dimension that the transaction is attached to.

The method of payment used for this customer transaction.

The payment specification for the current method of payment. For more information, see the Open customer transaction editing (form).

The terms of payment for the transaction.

The reference to a specific payment.

If selected, the payment is a prepayment.

The date when payment for the transaction is due. The due date affects the calculation of balances, collection letters, and interest notes.

If this check box is selected, the payment has been canceled.

The code used for reporting to the central bank.

The description of the code that is displayed in the report to the central bank.

The payment step that is currently associated with this transaction.

This field is available only when the configuration key for is selected.

The payment step that was associated with this transaction before it reached the current payment step.

This field is available only when the configuration key for is selected.

The reporting batch for payment management information.

A unique identifier for bills of exchange that is used when creating new bills of exchange.

This field is available only when the configuration key for is selected.

Displays 1for the first cycle of a bill of exchange and 2for the first redraw action.

This field is available only when the configuration key for is selected.

The status of the bill of exchange:

This field is available only when the configuration key for is selected.

A unique identifier for a remittance file.

This field is available only when the configuration key for is selected.

The amount settled in the company currency.

The amount of the exchange rate adjustment in the company currency.

Note Note

Information is displayed in this field only if invoicing was done in a foreign currency, and if an exchange rate adjustment was made between the time of invoicing and the time of payment.


If this check box is selected, the exchange rate is included in triangulation.

The settled portion of the amount in the transaction currency, as defined in the field.

The settled portion of the amount in the company currency, including any exchange rate adjustments and penny differences.

The voucher number from the most recent settlement.

The account number for the most recent settlement.

The company for the most recent settlement.

The date of the most recent settlement.

If this check box is selected, the transaction is settled.

You can use the button to change the settlement. For more information, see Reverse settlements.

If the transaction has been settled, the date for the full settlement is displayed. This date corresponds to the transaction date of the final settlement. If the field is empty, the transaction has not yet been fully settled.

Note Note

For example, if a prepayment posted on January 1 is settled against an invoice that is posted on February 1, the invoice date is displayed.


The posting profile used when closing the transaction.

The interest note number for the most recent interest calculation for the transaction.

The transaction date for the interest note.

The date of the most recent interest calculation for the transaction.

The current collection letter number for the transaction.

The date of the most recent collection letter for the transaction.

The current collection letter code for the transaction.
