You can use the Payroll parametersform to set up the parameters for the payroll calculation. You must configure the parameters, such as default values for payroll lines, parameters for posting the resulting transactions to General ledger, system payroll types, and number sequences for payroll journals and accounting transactions.

  1. Click Staff accounting> Setup> Parametersto open the Payroll parametersform.

    Note Note

    The payroll calculation period is displayed in the Calculation periodfield. This period changes automatically after the payroll period closes when payroll and taxes are calculated. Payroll calculation changes must be done within this period.


  2. Click the left arrow button to select the previous calculation date.

    Note Note

    You can select this date if the Paidcheck box is cleared for the current calculation date on the Calculation calendartab. This date must be within the calculation period.


  3. Click the right arrow button to select the future calculation date. This date must be within the calculation period.

    Note Note

    You can select this date if the calculation procedures are in the status Calculatedor Exclude. In addition, the calculations must be updated by the assigned employees. All pay sheets of Interimtype must have the status For paymentor Paidon the current calculation date.


  4. In the Funds and datafield, the status of payments to off-budget funds and the NDFL employees archive is displayed as Calculatedor Not calculated.

  5. In the Payroll approximationfield, enter the approximate amount to round off the payroll amount paid to the employees.

  6. In the Mid-period paymentsfield, select the pay type code for mid-period payments to employees during the calculation period.

  7. In the Debt of the employeefield, select the pay type code for the payment of debts of employees at the close of the calculation period.

  8. In the Debt of the employerfield, select the pay type code for the payment of any employer debts at the close of the calculation period.

  9. Click the Calculation calendartab.

  10. Press CTRL+N to create a new line.

  11. In the Calculation datefield, select the payroll calculation date.

    Note Note

    You must select a date within the specified calculation period. For example, if the payroll is calculated semi-monthly, select the middle or ending day of the month.


  12. Click the Transactiontab.

  13. In the Compressionfield, specify how salary transactions are to be grouped by account, employee, or separately per accrual for payroll calculation from the following options:

    • Group all transactions– Summary of accounts for transactions grouped by ledger account.

    • Group transactions by table number– Summary of transactions grouped by employee number across accounts and financial dimensions.

    • All transactions separately– Summary of transactions across pay types and table numbers.

  14. In the Account posting profilefield, select the posting profile for the account that is used to create new pay types.

  15. In the Offset account posting profilefield, select the posting profile for the offset account that is used to create new pay types.

  16. Click the Number sequencestab and select the number sequence codes for the following reference types:

    • Journal

    • Time sheet number

    • Number of pay-sheet

    • Deposit card's number

    • Deposit ledger voucher

  17. Press CTRL+S or close the form.
