Use this form to create and maintain service agreements.

View and edit information about the service agreement ID, the project to which it is attached, and the service agreement's duration and suspended status.

View and edit information about the transaction type, service objects, and service tasks that are attached to the agreement line. Also, view and edit the start date and end date if they are specified for the line.

Description

Open the following submenu items:

  • - Create service object relations for the agreement. You can then specify these service objects on the attached service agreement lines.

  • - Create service task relations for the agreement. You can then specify these service tasks on the attached service agreement lines.

  • - Set up cost prices for hour transactions. The cost price is applied on hour transaction lines that are created for the current service agreement.

  • - Set up cost prices for expense transactions. The cost price is applied on expense transaction lines that are created for the current service agreement.

  • - Set up sales prices for hour transactions. The sales price is applied on hour transaction lines that are created for the current service agreement.

  • - Set up sales prices for expense transactions. The sales price is applied on expense transaction lines that are created for the current service agreement.

  • - Set up sales prices for fee transactions. The sales price is applied on fee transaction lines that are created for the current service agreement.

Open the following submenu items:

  • - Create service orders automatically for the service agreement within the specified service order period.

  • - Post service orders that are attached to the selected agreement.

  • - Cancel service orders that are attached to the selected service agreement.

  • - Delete service orders that are attached to the selected service agreement.

  • - Copy service template lines and their attached service task and service object relations into the current service agreement.

  • - Copy service agreement lines and, optionally, their attached service task and service object relations into the current service agreement.

Open the following submenu item:

  • - View and edit service orders that are attached to the current service agreement.

Click this button to open the following submenu items:

  • - Create service orders automatically for selected agreement line.

  • - Post service orders that are attached to the selected agreement line.

Click this button to open the following submenu item:

  • - Shows the on-hand inventory for the various inventory dimensions. This option is only available for item transaction lines.

Select an option to display service agreements, service agreement templates, or both.

Enter the service agreement ID.

Enter a short description of the service agreement.

The project to which the service agreement is attached. For more information about projects and service agreements, see Project attached to service agreement.

The service agreement group for the service agreement. If you have defined a default service agreement group in in , this group will be suggested. For more information about service agreement groups and service agreements, see About service-agreement groups.

Shows the start date for the service agreement. This date defaults from the start date for the service agreement's project, although you can enter a new date. For more information about the default start dates of service agreements, see Start date.

Enter the end date for the service agreement. This field is optional. For more information about end dates specified on service agreements, see End date.

Select the check box to suspend a service agreement. For more information about suspending and stopping service agreements, see Suspended and Stopped.

The employee who is responsible for the service agreement.

The name of the project attached to the service agreement.

The customer account which is referenced in the project attached to the service agreement.

The name of the customer account which is referenced in the project attached to the service agreement.

External contact person attached to the service agreement. Contact persons are listed in the form.

Category by which to group automatically created service order lines. For more information about combining service orders, see Combine service orders.

Select a service level agreement if you want to assign its time limits for completing a service request to this service agreement.

Enter a template group if you want to create the selected service agreement as a template. For more information about service template groups, see About service template groups.

Transaction type for service agreement line. For more information about transaction types, see Transaction type of the service agreement line.

The employee to perform the service transaction.

Select a category for the service agreement line. The categories available to you are limited by the transaction type you have selected for this agreement line.

Description of the transaction. The name entered for the category is automatically repeated in this field.

Select a service object relation to attach to the service agreement line if it is needed.

You must create the service object relation before you can attach it. For more information, see About service object relationsand Create service object relations.


The name of the service object associated with the selected service object relation.

Select a service task to attach to the service agreement line. Before you do this, create a service task relation. For more information about how to create service task relations, see Create service task relations.

Specify identification of service interval. For more information about service intervals, see About service intervals.

Enter a start date for the agreement line. The date defaults from the start date on the service agreement. For more information about start and end dates, see Start and end dates.

Enter an end date for the agreement line. For more information about start and end dates, see Start and end dates.

Specify the item number of the object.

Shows the service agreement to which the service agreement line is attached.

Shows the service agreement line number.

Description of the transaction.

Enter an extended free text description for the service agreement line of up to 1,000 characters.

Specify a time window for the agreement line. For more information about time windows, see About time windows.

Select to stop a service agreement line. For more information about suspending and stopping, see Suspended and Stopped.

Service task must be started before this time.

Service task must be completed by this time.

The project that is attached to the service agreement.

When you create service orders, item lines are generated in two different ways depending on the selection in this field.

Select if you want to generate lines of the type Item in the form.

Select to generate item requirement lines in the form.

Shows the line property which is inherited from the attached project. The field is editable.

Enter a free text description of the transaction.

Quantity of hours, expenses, or items that are included in the transaction.

The cost price per hour, expense, or item that is included in the transaction.

The cost price of hours and expenses depends on the start date of the agreement line so that a price setup that is not valid until a later date than the start date of the agreement line is disregarded.

Cost of the total quantity of the transaction.

View the currency in which the project is invoiced. The currency is inherited from the customer attached to the service agreement.

Sales price per unit calculated in the current sales currency.

The sales price of hours, expenses, and fees depends on the start date of the agreement line. Therefore, a price setup that is not valid until a later date than the start date of the agreement line is disregarded.

Type or select a sales tax group code that is generated in the form.

Type or select an item sales tax group code generated in the form.

Specify one or more dimensions for the service agreement line.

Select a service level agreement to apply to all manually entered service orders attached to this service agreement.
